Middelburg 17 mei 1940

Middelburg werd, evenals Rotterdam, op 17 mei 1940 (door Duitse vliegtuigen?) gebombardeerd. Hoe Middelburg er na dit bombardement uitzag is te zien op onderstaande foto's, die ik in de nalatenschap van mijn grootouders gevondenheb.

Middelburg, as well as Rotterdam, was bombed on May 17, 1940 (by German planess?). How Middelburg looked like after this bombing can be seen on the pictures below, which I found in the legacy of my grandparents.
